The first is they do not set realistic short term goals for themselves. You can not train and eat healthy for a week and expect to get to where you want to be. Let’s face it that first week sucks! But in all honesty it is going to take at least a month of consistently eating healthy and working out before you start to see and feel the change. I always tell my clients, “Give me the first four weeks of workouts and nutrition just as I tell you, and let me show you how great you can be.”
So let me tell you what failure means to me. When I fail at something I do not give up. I use it as a learning tool and try again. Heck, I may try 100 times at something and fail every single time. But what separates me from most is I will not give up! You know why I don’t give up? Because on try 101 I might just do it. Learn from your failures and build from them. The only true failure is quitting before accomplishing your goal.
