ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!
It’s an ongoing joke among most of my female friends and clients…Guys would rather DIE than read the instructions that come with a product, let alone follow them! Well, let me tell you a little story on someone we all know and love (most of the time)!
A few weeks ago, ONE of my co-workers came down with WHATEVER was grounding so many of your friends: general congestion, aches and pains (but no fever). As he is so often telling us to do when we are not feeling well, HE WENT HOME! (Thank goodness! I wanted no part of whatever it was!) On the way home, he picked up not one, but two of today’s modern miracle drugs at the corner drug store: (one for night and blessed sleep, and the other for daytime use!) Just a few extra hours of sleep, and the “miracle” pills, he should be back to work! HA! (His wife actually brought home the requisite chicken soup that cured all, and IT JUST WASN’T BETTER!)
He just DID NOT UNDERSTAND until the moment of truth came out…DUH! He had been taking the nighttime formula during the day, and guess what…It was knocking him OUT and into LALA land just like it was supposed to! Following directions (finally), he GOT BETTER FAST!
SO…This is the path I want you to follow: READ THE DIRECTIONS for your body (or find someone who has already read them and can interpret)! Exactly where do you find these directions? There are many books available, but the one I most recently read a few passages from is called The Owner’s Manual for the Human Body (hello!) by Dr. Saul Pressman. Dr. Saul has made the following statements that I totally believe:
- wellness is dependent on the unification of body, mind and spirit;
- each person is responsible for achieving and maintaining his own optimal wellness;
- such wellness is dependent on following natural means and therapies; and
- preventing disease is well within the ability of each person.
The Big deal in all of this, and what I really want you to think about:
Make meaningful changes this year!
Don’t try to JUST DO IT by making the SAME New Year’s resolutions in slightly different wording!
Ask yourself what you REALLY NEED TO DO to be a HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, MORE PRODUCTIVE PERSON?
If you will actually read an instruction manual, there are lots out there, some of them with really good advice (think about the source)!
Along with that “manual” you’re reading (?) find a professional who can help you! (We at BaerFit ARE THE BEST!)
Keep in mind, the science of the human body is evolving and maturing like all sciences! Use your brain, learn to listen to your body, read and analyze someone else’s thoughts and ideas, and FIND OUT WHAT REALLY WORKS FOR YOU!

1975 AD : That pill is ineffective! Here take this antibiotic.
2000 AD : That antibiotic is poison! Here, eat this root.
