Talking about age how about your genes? Genes are “fixed” in the sense that you can’t remove the “bad” ones. But there is no reason to think you are stuck because you can work with what you were given. How do you live your life? Your genes can be altered by what you eat, your physical fitness and even your exposure to chemicals.
If you choose not to work out, what is that saying about you and what do your children think of you? A sedentary lifestyle may be more to blame for the loss of muscle mass after age 40 than the aging process itself. After just six weeks of exercise, studies show a 100 to 200 percent increase in strength in men aged 60 to 70. In a widely cited study, 50 men and women with an average age of 87 worked out with weights for 10 weeks and increased their muscle strength by 113%.
There is nothing to stop you from being the BEST you, you can possibly be but you!
20 minutes is all that’s needed to keep your joints healthy. If you exercise a minimum of 20 minutes the cartilage in your knees wouldn’t dissipate. The knees are the most common location for cartilage loss.
Remember that 20 minutes is minimum more like 45 minutes would be so much better!
