Pack lunches; if a refrigerator is not accessible, use lunch boxes that with freezer packs. (The brand “pack it” is awesome. They can be purchased on Amazon and Target for around $20.) If eating out is a must, try buffet style restaurants or café’s. This will allow you to make the best decisions on food choice and portion size. Try very hard not to let yourself become famished, this will help you not make hasty food decisions for a quick fix.

Beef jerky/ turkey jerky
Dry roasted edamame
Dry Oats/ Cream of wheat/ Instant Oatmeal
Protein bar (quest bars are my favorite)
Gallon of water
