These are a few samples of what I hear. Now what do the people that care about themselves say? "You know, I just don't need a cheat day." "Can I workout 5 days a week, instead of just 3?" "Man I've come this far. Let's set some new goals." "I want to run a marathon." "I want to do a 3 day hiking trip in the mountains." "I know I'm 50, but do you think I could compete in bodybuilding?"
The answer to the first group...you never will. The answer to the second group...of course you can. You see first you have to truly care about and love yourself and your life. When you do, you will become anything, with health.
I love the picture at the bottom. I see more and more of our seniors that just do not want to quit. And more and more of our young and middle aged, just not caring. A gentleman in his late 80's stopped in to see me this week. First he looked to be in his 60's. And he was very fit. He told me his story, and it was about eating right, and exercise. His whole life. My friends in their 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's that I respect so much. None of them ever stop. Hiking, biking, jogging, lifting weights, cooking and eating well.
So if you are older, it really isn't ever to late to have a great healthy active life. And for all you young ones, stop living like you gave up. AS the song says, "Live like you were dying."
If you do decide to change to a healthy lifestyle, give us a call and we will help get you started. You may be at my 100th birthday party, and will that ever be a celebration. Yes I do already have plans.
"You're going to love your results. I guarantee it."
